This Is Congo

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has been at war for the past 20 years. More than 5 million people have died and the country has been plunged into extreme poverty.

Although this is the world's bloodiest since WWII, few in the West know much about it.

This incredibly beautiful and immersive film, at times shot directly from the front line, follows four characters - a whistleblower, a young military commander, a mineral dealer and a displaced tailor.
