Oscars 2021 Shortlisted Documentaries Announced !

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have announced shortlists in nine categories for the 93rd Oscars including Documentary Feature and Documentary Short Subject !

We’re extremely excited to see so many of our favourite films from the past year included in this record-breaking tally of documentaries. For every one that we’ve covered you’ll find a link to our review, including a trailer and a link to watch the film for yourself.

Congratulations to all the films that have made it this far and best of luck for the rest of the competition !

The final nominations for the 2021 Oscars will be announced on Monday, March 15 and The Oscars will take place on April 25th.

Documentary Feature

15 films will advance in the Documentary Feature category for the 93rd Academy Awards. An impressive 230 films were eligible in the category this year.
