The film follows a daredevil photographer, an aspiring swimsuit model, and a midwest girl next door, all looking for a little love, acceptance and, of course, Instagram likes – which they’ll do just about anything to get it. With an observational eye, Social Animals peeks into the digital and real worlds of today’s image-focused teenager, where followers, likes and comments mark success and self-worth.

With debate raging over the need for regulation of social media and its impact on young people’s mental health, this is an opportunity to hear first-hand accounts from people whose lives have been changed forever by Instagram.

Described by The Verge as “a documentary about teens and Instagram that doesn’t suck” and nominated for best documentary feature at SXSW, we’ll be showing this gem of a documentary at the Courthouse Hotel in Soho, London, with drinks starting at 6 pm on the 26th of March - enter for your chance to join us!
