Interview with Zara Balfour on 'Children of the Snow Land'
Thursday the 14th of March will see the release of Children of the Snow Land, a deeply touching film that follows three Nepalese teenagers making their way home from school to meet their parents for the first time in 12 years.
Documentary Weekly was invited to attend the film’s premiere in London, where we caught up with Director Zara Balfour to talk about her inspiration for the film, how it's changed her outlook on life and one of it's most enthusiastic patrons, Bear Grylls.
We thoroughly enjoyed watching this film and it was a great pleasure getting to know these inspiring children on screen.
Children of the Snow Land is being shown in cinemas around the UK and will be available online from the 14th of March - more info here.
If you’d like to donate to the the film’s “Going Home Campaign” to help more village children see their families again, you can do so here.
