Introducing Jay Wilde, the UK's first cattle-farmer to go vegan

Not long ago, Jay Wilde was a walking talking paradox: a vegetarian cattle-farmer. While its true that most people resent the job they do, Jay’s was to deliver his friends to slaughter, over and over again.

Throughout Alex Lockwood’s BAFTA-winning short ‘73 Cows’, Jay’s pain and suffering is clearly etched into his features.

Only a bold, never-before tried alternative could both allow Jay to keep his farm running and deliver him from his moral predicament - converting to a fully vegan, plant-based farm.

This beautiful film is the documentation of that process and the salvation of his remaining 73 cows.
